Those Related to the Birth of Christ
Four times Joseph had dreams and messages from God about the birth and early life of Jesus. In at least three of the dreams Gabriel talked with him.

Shepherds who watched their flock by night were visited by messengers who sent them into Bethlehem and to the stable to see for themselves the Christ child.

Isaiah (9:6) said "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: And his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace".

Angels by divine decree assembled above the amphitheatre of the fields of Boaz and praised God saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace among men in whom he is well pleased." One said, "I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord." (Luke 2:8-15).

Simeon happened to be in the temple when Mary brought him for dedication, possibly at the age of 41 days, and seeing him, took him into his arms and gave forth his song: "Now lettest thou thy servant depart, O Lord, in peace, according to thy word: for mine eyes have seen thy salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glow of thy people Israel" (Luke 2:29-32).

Wise men from the East came and inquired "Where is he who is born king of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him" (Matthew 2:2).

Micah (5:2) says, "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."
